Chiroyouth Flanders is a Belgian youth organisation in the Dutch speaking part Flanders. In a playful and active manner, every sunday afternoon the member groups of our organisation organise free time activities for children and youngsters from 6 to 18 years old. This way we look for an alternative way of living with those children and youngsters.The highlight of the year is an annual summer camp in July or August. The international committee of Chiroyouth Flanders offers the local chiro groups, uniting around 100.000 members, the chance to discover how (similar) youth organisations abroad work. We are therefore searching for contact persons representing youth organisation. We preffer organisations that are politically neutral, having several local groups, and that focus on offering children and youngsters free time activities also in a playful and active manner. Our intentions are to create sustainable partnerships, likewise those we already have within FIMCAP (a federation for youth organisations, www.fimcap.org, with for example Ateitis Federation as a member group).
